The Pakistan Football Federation and Foundation Public School have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a strategic collaboration that helps promote football development at the grassroots and school level through structured training, certification, monitoring, and competitive platforms.

Under the partnership, the PFF will provide training and certification of FPS sports teachers whilst also offering assistance from qualified coaches to the Foundation United Football Academy.

As part of the agreement, FPS will organise and sponsor the PFF Karachi Inter-school Football and Futsal Championships. FPS will also be setting up futsal pitches and academy structure across its campuses.

PFF President Syed Mohsen Gilani: “It gives me great pleasure to announce what I hope will be a long-term partnership with Foundation Public School. This MoU reflects the commitment of the Pakistan Football Federation towards uplifting football in the country, especially at the grassroots level. One of the major objectives of the PFF was to revive football at school level and this is a step towards achieving that with plans to hold PFF Inter-School Championships to follow in due course.”

FPS Managing Director Raza Kamal Minhas: “It is at the grassroots level that we find our future heroes. We can see the vision of the PFF. This is a baby step towards something much bigger.”
